- he has been getting much more comfortable experimenting with his gender identity and how he sees himself.About Visions/Delusions:
- he wears his gloves to help not burn his hands. fire, like emotions, can be difficult to control. taking his gloves off is a way to know he feels safe, as this means he won't need to use his vision.
- he lost control over his flames many times while still learning to use his vision, thus burning his hands in the process. he still struggles with this from time to time, and his gloves are a precautionary measure. he cannot work efficiently if he injures his hands.
- diluc can overheat. high emotions and intese feelings can increase his body temperature and make his skin feel hot to the touch. in extreme cases, his emotions are capable of increasing his body temperature so much that it can give him a fever.
- crepus's delusion remains locked in a place only he knows. diluc hasn't used it in years, and doesn't plan on touching it again any time soon.Portrayal:
- highly masked autism, he tends to avoid loud noises and unnecessary social interactions, as well as some textures. he may go non-verbal when overstimulated.
- if he needs to go to an event where he talks to many people, or a large business meeting, he typically returns home exhausted, and may end up isolating in his room for a day or two (or more, depending on the event) in order to recover. his staff is used to this, and he trusts many of them enough to accept their help if needed.
- he tends to shut down when overstimulated, and in order to keep himself from lashing out at the people around him, he chooses to self-isolate instead. it is difficult for him to control his emotions when overwhelmed, and finds it much easier to remove himself from the environment that is stressing him out.
- his bedroom is his safe space.
- he stims by playing with his hair, jewelry, or the chains and buttons on his jacket. he has accidentially broken quite a few buttons this way. adelinde has gotten used to mending them.
- he may also subconsiously hum a song while focused on something like paperwork. typically something classical, or whatever happens to be stuck in his head.
Physical Appearance:
- he wears his hair down fairly often at home, tying it back when he goes out. sometimes he'll add a small braid or a black ribbon to his ponytail.
- he has burn scars on his hands from before he started wearing his gloves, as well as quite a few on the rest of his body.
- there are a few larger scars from his time in snezhnaya, when he wasnt able to allow them to heal properly; be it through a lack of supplies, malnutrition, or simply not resting enough to let the wound heal.
- he has a few piercings on his ears, many of them often hidden by how his hair falls.
- he is around 6'1" (186cm)

- he loves mixology, of course, mixing and trying new and different non-alcoholic beverages in his spare time. if mixing you a drink was a love language, it would be diluc's.
- he took violin lessons as a kid, and still likes to play from time to time, althought he doesnt very often.
- he loves music. it's comforting.
- he has tried to take up painting. it's not his thing.
- when angry or frustrated --or simply bored-- he'll train in his swordsmanship, be it going out to fight monsters, or simply at his makeshift training grounds on his property.
- he is neutral towards conducting the winery affairs. he will groan about it, but he definitely does enjoy some aspects of business.
- he loves board games and strategy games, chess especially.
- he loves darts and pool (billiards), and can often be found playing these in the tavern, if he isnt working, of course.
